Jessie is a product of Mound Westonka High School where she played hockey and five years of lacrosse and received numerous awards for leadership and skills in the sport. She matriculated to Augsburg University where she earned a degree in Accounting with minors in Management Information Systems and Studio Art as well as earning a Coaching Degree. Jessie is proud to say that she played lacrosse at Augsburg which was the first D3 women's lacrosse team in the State of Minnesota.
When asked ‘Why do you Coach, Jessie suggests, “My coaching purpose is to be honest and kind to my athletes, enabling them to follow in my ways. Also to give athletes the courage to try new things and gain ambition for a happy and healthy lifestyle.”
When asked ‘Why Providence, Jessie responded, “I think student- athletes gain ambition and continue to grow into good believers, good thinkers, good citizens, good people. I want my student-athletes to be able to accomplish and master skills and content while improving character development. I believe my core values and beliefs are very similar to what Providence Academy mission statement expresses. I look forward to watching my athletes grow and accomplish their goals.”
